    First rule of killing memes is to not talk about the memes you want to kill.

    Memes are like Obi-Wan; if you strike them down, they will only grow stronger.

    If you think a commercial is stupid and annoying, do not tell your friends the commercial is stupid and annoying – because you will have helplessly spread a stupid and annoying meme to your friends. Friends don’t let friends spread stupid and annoying memes.

    It’s not a matter of just saying “No” – it’s more a matter of just saying nothing at all.
