Like the Bible, for the Koran, there are interpretations that encourage violence, and those that don&#039;t.  In both instances, they take knowledge that is over a thousand years old, and freeze it in an unmodifiable form.]]></description>

I don&#039;t think that it is the religion that is the problem, but rather some of the tribal cultures in the middle east.  It is these cultures with the Sharia courts that will do things such like sentence a woman to prison or a public flogging for being raped.]]></description>
