Hey Stuart --

Great idea! This is something I've been thinking about doing myself, and I bet there are other FFR listeners interested in doing the same. We'll do a show dedicated to just this topic before the end of the year.

Hi Phil and Stephen,

I'm an avid listner to FastForward Radio.
You have inspired me to start a discussion group at my local
library that will focus on the incredible scientific and technological changes that that are occuring and what those implications are for ordinary people. I thought that it would be appropriate to concentrate on the developments that will occur over the next 3 - 5 years and the opportunities that they may bring and how to prepare for them. I plan to start in January 2013.
Although I have some ideas of how the discussion group may be organized I was wondering if you may have some advise. I would like to have a practical leaning towards the topics and discussions and I would like the participants to be able to take action from the ideas. There seems to be tremedous interest. The library is willing to provide meeting faciliites and will get the word out by promoting the group in affiliated libraries thoughout the county. I appreciate any ideas and advise you may have

Best Regards,
