Recently my kid brother celebrated his 30th birthday. His cake had the grim reaper on it with the comment “Don’t worry, I’m just here for the cake.”

As people were kidding around with him about that milestone I reflected that, soon enough, I’ll be exiting my 30s.

And that’s not too bad actually. I guess it’s because I haven’t wasted the time so far, there’s room for improvement but I’m happy with my life right now, and I’m excited about the future.

Age wouldn’t be much of an issue if it weren’t for diminishing health as the years go by.

But we’re hopeful that will change too.
