I think it a better description to say that people simply have more (and more varied) opportunity to do dumb sh – tuff than was the case previously.

They are just enjoying the water in a kiddie pool while refreshing under the sun. But I would also agree with you that they are really getting that dumb. Would that electrical wire be safe on the water? I would not think that it could be. So I jut hope nobody was electrocuted in this dumb event of yours.
